The Rigg Darlington Group is passionate about giving back to our community! Spending time helping out at local shelters or food banks provides an important service to less fortunate neighbors. Giving back enriches our lives and connects us with people and ideas that positively impact the rest of our lives.

Helping Harvest Fresh Food Bank

12% of the population of Berks County and Schuylkill County live in poverty and thus face hunger issues. Of those living in poverty, nearly 24,500 are children under the age of 18.
More than 38,000 school-aged children in Berks and Schuylkill Counties are eligible for the National School Lunch Program’s free and reduced lunches. This represents more than 52% of the population of school-aged children in Berks County and Schuylkill County.
More than 110,000 people in Berks and Schuylkill Counties qualify for food assistance – defined as living within 185% of the poverty guideline.

Honey Brook Food Pantry

The Honey Brook Food Pantry provides a 3-4 day supply of various food items on a monthly basis to neighbors in need within the Honey Brook community. Our mission is to serve them with respect while empowering them toward food security and independence.

Animal House Project

On a mission to keep pets at home and out of shelters by providing donated pet food and pet care services.

The Lords Pantry of Downingtown

No one should suffer from hunger. The Lord’s Pantry provides food, information, and basic assistance to those in need with respect and compassion.

Twin Valley Food Pantry

The Twin Valley Food Pantry is a member of the Greater Berks Food bank family of pantries, kitchens and shelters. Our mission is to supply a food supplement to our community and ensure that there are no undernourished children in our school.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross, also known as The American National Red Cross, is a non-profit humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States.

City Gate

City Gate mission is a homeless shelter for men run by men that teaches you how to get back on your feet when you’ve lost your way.

Chester County Community Foundation

The Community Foundation is entrusted with 400+ family, individual, community group & nonprofit legacy funds.

Mary’s Shelter

Mary’s Shelter is a multifaceted comprehensive housing and social service agency that addresses pregnancy, parenting and youth homelessness through proactive preventative work, crisis intervention services and stabilization back into the community.
